Who are you, can you tell us a bit about yourself?
My name is Erika and I am 29 years old. I live with my husband and son in Bree, Limburg, Belgium. Because of my interest in agriculture I decided to study Agro and Biotechnology with a specialization in Dairy farming. After graduating, I first had an administrative job in animal feed production/veal farming. In June 2020 I started at UNIFORM-Agri as a helpdesk employee.

How long do you work for UNIFORM-Agri?
I have been working at UNIFORM-Agri for 1 year now and even though I started in corona time, I have never regretted my choice to change jobs. I immediately felt welcome in the group. The training was divided into different topics and during the first weeks I immediately had a lot of colleagues spoken.

What do you like about working for UNIFORM-Agri?
What I like about working at UNIFORM-Agri is that no day is the same. We never know in the morning how many customers are going to call and what ‘problems’ there are. But what also challenges me is that I can work together with the different departments within the company. So I have regular contact with my colleagues from marketing. I never have the feeling that I am on my own, even though I am alone at the helpdesk in Belgium, I can always contact the Dutch helpdesk with questions or to ask for help during busy moments.

What are you working on now?
I am available daily at the helpdesk. What is also one of my regular tasks, is starting up new customers and giving these training courses. This is all done digitally. You can also contact me for the free web consultations. I am also working on the UNIFORM Academy, this is an e-learning platform that we are going to launch, so that customers have something to fall back on. Because during a web training a lot of information is given to new users but with e-learning, they can then view that information again afterwards.

Where do you see yourself in the future?
I see myself still working at UNIFORM in the future, digitization is the future in dairy farming and I would like to support this.
