We often hear from customers, “I can make a backup myself on a USB or external hard drive.” However, it’s not always easy to find where to do this. Below is an explanation of what to do in the program:

1. First, click on File, and then select the first option: Backup files.

2. You will then enter a new screen. Here, you can select the location where you’d like to save the backup (1).

If you’d like to send a backup to our datasafe from time to time (if it isn’t set up to do this automatically), you can select DataSafe (2). Finally, click on the “Next” button to actually create the backup. Once this is done, you can click “Finish” to close the screen.
