Tom Dedecker, Belgium

In Belgium, we have a new colleague to represent UNIFORM-Agri in sales! His name is Tom Dedecker. Welcome to the company, Tom! He will introduce himself here:

“I grew up on a dairy farm where my father, being one of the local importers of Holstein cattle, taught me all about dairy.“

My name is Tom Dedecker. I’m 41 years old and I live with my wife, Evelien, and daughter, Mona, in Oostvleteren. In my spare time, I like to play tennis, I’m a member of a historical archer guild and, like a lot of Belgians, I’m also a Burgundian.

I grew up on a dairy farm where my father, being one of the local importers of Holstein cattle, taught me all about dairy. I started my professional career as a milking consultant with MCC-Vlaanderen. On a daily basis, I worked with dairy farmers to resolve milk quality problems. After a couple of years, I went into sales with Heemskerk Belgium. For more than 16 years, I went on-farm with a wide range of products in genetics, care products, crops and counselling.

Very soon it became clear to me that excellent data processing is essential to optimizing the operation and resolving problems as fast as possible. Improving management by analyzing and uniting data from technical aids, advisors and suppliers makes the software of UNIFORM-Agri essential for today’s dairy farmers. It inspires and stimulates me to be a part of this process.

I’m looking forward to joining Erica, Jan and all of the UNIFORM-Agri colleagues abroad.
